Verbier’s hottest new après-ski destination, Vie Montagne, has recently opened for the winter season in the heart of the prestigious Swiss ski resort.
Designed by Gina Brennan, who has worked with the likes of Soho House and the Hoxton Hotel, the luxury fine-dining venue has two sophisticated restaurants and a craft brewery. The chic Club Room serves an inspired tasting menu created by Lawrence McCarthy, previously of The Ledbury in London, using locally sourced produce, while at the relaxed Bier Haus artisanal wood-fired pizzas can be washed down with house craft beers from onsite alpine microbrewery, V Bier.
Vie Montagne sits in Verbier’s Rosalp development, a contemporary wooden chalet with sweeping mountain views located just 100 metres from the main Medran ski-lift station. Skiiers can stay alongside Vie Montagne in this exclusive enclave with luxury Verbier specialist, Ski Verbier Exclusive, which recently added two stylish apartments in Rosalp to its portfolio.
Guests can choose from a three-bedroom self-catered apartment or four-bedroom catered apartment, both of which sleep eight and have rustic contemporary style interiors. The self-catered apartment has two ensuite double bedrooms and an ensuite quad bunkroom that’s ideal for kids. Panoramic views of the alpine garden can be enjoyed from a sunny south-facing terrace or through large picture windows in the open-plan sitting room and kitchen.
A private chalet chef prepares gourmet meals in the catered apartment, which has four bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen-diner. Guests can enjoy spectacular mountain views from both the living room and a south-facing balcony running the length of the property.
A stay in self-catering Rosalp 3 costs from £5,669 (CHF7,500) for one week in April based on 6 + 2 people sharing. The price includes 24 hour in-resort chauffeur service and in-chalet ski equipment fitting.
A stay in catered Rosalp 4 costs from £10,582 (CHF14,000) for one week in April based on 8 people sharing. The price includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner on six nights including drinks, 24 hour in-resort chauffeur service and in-chalet ski equipment fitting.
