Ski Week In The Dolomites With Former Italian World Champion

Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti in Italy has announced its first Lefay Ski Week this March with former Italian ski world champion, Giorgio Rocca, in residence.

Giorgio Rocca will be at the resort from 13 to 20 March and guests staying that week can book a private two hour lesson with Giorgio to perfect their turns and hone their overall ski technique.  Giorgio has been world champion in several disciplines and is the third skier in history to win the first three races of the season, as well as the last Italian to win the 3Tre race in nearby Madonna di Campiglio.
 
The resort is situated in Pinzolo within the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio in the Dolomites, Italy.  Offering 150 km of slopes, four snowboard parks and a single ski pass valid for the entire ski area, Madonna di Campiglio is the biggest ski area in Trentino. 

Lefay Resort has an on-site ski shop, where guests can book ski passes, lessons and guides as well as a full range of ski equipment for purchase and hire.  There is a complimentary shuttle to the ski lifts in Pinzolo, just a few minutes away, which connects them to all the slopes in the Madonna di Campiglio ski area and a swish boot-room with ski butlers, boot heaters and secure storage. 
 
The resort’s 5,000 sqm spa, is one of the largest wellness areas in the Alps making it perfect for post ski relaxation and pampering. Highlights include a pool area featuring a swim in/swim out pool that is heated all year round, an adults’ zone with indoor pool, five areas with different types of saunas, steam rooms, a salt lake and an ice plunge pool to help speed up recovery after skiing by reducing temperature, blood flow and inflammation in tissues of the muscles.  Hot and cold treatments such as sauna stretching and cryotherapy are also offered to help relieve muscle tension and relax the overall body ready for the following day on the slopes.
 
Prices at Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti during the Lefay Ski Week with Giorgio Rocca start from Euros 490 for two people sharing a Premier Junior Suite including breakfast and use of the saunas, pools and steam rooms in the SPA.  A two hour private lesson with Giorgio Rocca costs Euros 700 per person.
