New Winter Skin Programme In The Dolomites

Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti is offering a new revitalising anti-aging programme combining the very latest in non-invasive aesthetic technology with Lefay’s pioneering holistic wellness method that merges Classical Chinese medicine and modern Western techniques. At a time of year when skin often appears dull and lacklustre, the new four-night Rejuvenate programme will brighten, smooth and invigorate the face and body using science based treatments as well as treatments using ingredients from the surrounding Alpine forests.

The resort, which is located in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Italian Dolomites in the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio, has a 5,000 sqm Lefay SPA, making it one of the largest spas in the entire Alpine region.

The Rejuvenate package can be highly personalised to cater to different skin types and includes treatments which are at the forefront of skin science, such as a HydraFacial MD Treatment and Booster (60 minute). A form of hydra-dermabrasion, this treatment combines the power of water and oxygen to remove impurities from pores. For maximum results a ‘Vortex Fusion’ is used to create a whirl effect to easily remove impurities, maximise blood flow and help stimulate the production of collagen, reducing fine lines and pigments.

Another treatment included is the Oxygen Therapy Intraceuticals (60 minute) which rather than spraying oxygen onto the skin uses pure oxygen under pressure to deliver a special combination of hyaluronic acid, oxidants, green tea, aloe vera and vitamins A, C, E to the deepest levels of the skin. The brightening effects of the treatment are immediate and visible.

These scientific spa treatments are combined with signature spa treatments that use products from the nearby forests such as plants, water, mud and local minerals. The exfoliating body scrub, for example, uses the anti-inflammatory and protective properties of horse chestnut seeds and the smoothing and regenerating effects of Alpine salt and butter (50 minute) to hydrate the skin.

The programme also features energy inducing treatments including the Lefay SPA revitalising and anti-ageing energy body massage Alta Marea (50 minute), an Energy foot massage, an Energy aroma-hydrotherapy session with perfumes of the forest (20 minute) and one Lefay SPA draining wrap (45 minute).

The four-night Rejuvenate Programme starts from 1,520 Euro per person in a Prestige Junior Suite, including seven treatments, breakfast in Dolomia Restaurant and entrance to Lefay SPA World with swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, fitness centre and relaxation areas.  www.lefayresorts.com.
