Sleeping 16, this grand, nineteenth century seafront villa was once the location for great parties in the 1960s, with guests such as Greta Garbo. It has now been lovingly restored in a classic, chic style.

The villa’s garden with palm trees and ancient olive trees has direct access to the beach. There is a raised terrace with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gazebo, outdoor kitchen and dining area, overlooking the sea.

Villa Dimore di Ulisse on South Coast

Dimore di Ulisse is a beachside property with a wonderful garden and pool and just a few minutes walk to a sandy beach. It is made up of two adjacent cottages, each sleeping up to four and is ideal for two families or a group of friends. One of the most striking features is the villa’s spacious first floor roof terrace, which overlooks the sea and is stylishly furnished with a dining table, low seating and sun-loungers. Villa Apolline on South Coast

Villa Apolline has an enviable seafront location near the town of Ipsica on Sicily’s southernmost coast. A garden path leads from the villa to one of the area’s best sandy beaches. It also has a large garden, outdoor Jacuzzi surrounded by decking, an outdoor kitchen and built-in barbecue. Above the patio is a first floor terrace with sea views, providing the idea spot for breakfast. The villa sleeps seven in three bedrooms. Catania airport is one hour and 20 minutes drive.

Villa Zahara on South East Coast

Head down the steps at the bottom of Zahara’s garden and you will find your own jetty with sun loungers, canoes and snorkelling equipment. This five-bedroom villa is in South East Sicily just five minutes’ drive from the shops and restaurants of Brucoli and half an hour’s drive from the historic town of Siracusa. The villa has gardens with mature trees providing a shaded seating area as well as a covered dining area – both over looking the sea. The villa is 35 minutes drive from Catania Airport.
